Students participate in Pathways Summer Scholars for free while taking STEM classes in Yale laboratories and developing their critical thinking skills through workshops taught by Yale faculty, staff, post-docs, and graduate students.
In order to offer students choice to take classes in fields of their interest, Pathways Summer Scholars is seeking teaching proposals from graduate students and post-docs. We encourage you to be creative in your proposal. Programs should be highly engaging for high school students while also tackling substantive content. Past programs have included Neurobiology, Physics of Atmospheres, Safer Chemicals, Evolution & Medicine, Biotechnology, Ecology & Ecosystems, Metals as You Have Never Seen Them Before, Musical Instrumentation Design Engineering, and more!
Applications to teach workshops in the Summer 2017 Program are now closed. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in receiving the call for proposals in the fall for Summer 2018.
